Many years of experience as a cultural manager. Open for new projects.

In March 2019, Symeon Ioannidis took over the musical direction of the children's opera Snow White, music by Wolfgang Mitterer based on Engelbert Humperdinck, as well as the revival in November 2019 as part of our LINDEN 21 series for contemporary pieces. Mr. Ioannidis did excellent work as a conductor and as a pianist, his musical performance, flexibility, and preparation with the singers, children's choir, and musicians were outstanding and gave great pleasure to all those involved and in the house. Our encounter was not only artistically but also personally a great enrichment. I can recommend Mr. Ioannidis to any university, orchestra, and theater as a conductor and versatile musician.

In interaction with other musicians, Mr. Ioannidis, with his alert mind and diverse interests, is a highly esteemed personality. He impresses not only as a conductor, but can also uphold his qualities at the piano.

Symeon Ioannidis is an outstanding pianist. Having him as a partner during rehearsals is a pleasure, not only because he plays excellently and apparently knows the entire standard repertoire thoroughly, but also because he shares his knowledge of style, his ability to analyze and interpret music, and conveys it in a variety of ways. He is able to adapt incredibly sensitively to the most varied tasks and handle them creatively, is never content with what he already knows, and is always curious about new things. His enjoyment and precision in discovering and working out an individual interpretation are not only a great help but also exemplary for the students.

Prof. Frank Hilbrich

Director - Scenic Teaching UdK

During his studies at our university, within the framework of conductor training, Mr. Ioannidis has successfully conducted professional orchestras such as the Neubrandenburg Philharmonic, the Elbland Philharmonic, and the Prussian Chamber Orchestra. He completed his diploma examination with distinction in a public concert of the Berlin Symphony Orchestra at the Konzerthaus Berlin.
